Anton Flanders extended his creative portfolio in 2021, stepping into the realm of film as director, screenwriter and actor.

He wrote his debut movie short The Big Smoke - which was subsequently produced and funded by Luna Legacy. Anton directed and starred in the piece and looks forward to further opportunities in film in the future.

Set in London, The Big Smoke is a neo noir dark crime comedy that traverses the underbelly of London life, weaving stories of dizzying, deep connection, betrayal and commitment. In it, we follow anti-hero Scarlet, a retired assassin lured back to the game for one last Hail-Mary hit. Nutty P's accompanying EP is the perfect score to this atmospheric, tense tale of Scarlet’s descent into a web of mysticism, unavenged vendettas and familial loyalties. As he traverses the underbelly of London life, he encounters characters from his murky past. Will his paranoia consume him - or will he step out of the smoke and into his future? Featuring an all-star cast including KdotMelody, Shay D, Baby Sol, Genesis Elijah, Shiverz the Butcher and more…

Anton also composed the soundtrack to The Big Smoke, releasing an EP and DLC patch of the same name.
